Our team

Hua Hu - Group leader

I obtained my PhD degree in neurophysiology at the University of Oslo in 2006. Afterwards, I worked as a visiting scientist at the University of Freiburg and as a postdoc at the Institute of Science and Technology, Austria. I became a group leader in 2016 at the University of Oslo. I was appointed as an Associate Professor in Physiology by the medical faculty of University of Oslo in 2017. My main research interest is synaptic functions in cortical neural circuits.

We are collaborating with Professor Ververake to analyze the functions of inhibitory interneurons in the barrel cortex.
